So this is the start of the Fair Isle Sweater I mentioned in the craft haul post that you can check out by clicking here. The best thing to do is always start with a gauge swatch. I thought it especially important as I substituted yarn as I couldn’t find the orange I liked in the yarn listed in the pattern. As it turned out though with the Sonora yarn, the yarn orange is quite a bit duller than I thought from looking at the image online, which I added below, so you can see the comparison.
